Course Storyboard
The Course Storyboard helps you transform your Course Blueprint into a structured learning journey.
Using the storyboard, you will organise your course session by session, planning learning objectives, learning activities, opportunities for discussion and application, communication, learner support and the overall learner workload.
The storyboard encourages you to view the course from the learner’s perspective and helps ensure that all parts of the course work together as a coherent learning experience.
Throughout this step, you will find practical templates, storyboard examples and guidance to support the detailed development of your course.

Testing your course design
Before moving into delivery, it is valuable to test your design against realistic learner scenarios.
Stress-testing helps identify potential barriers related to workload, learner confidence, engagement, assessment, communication and support before the course is delivered. Small adjustments at this stage can significantly improve learner experience and course completion.
Inclusive language and communication
The EMERGE Plurilingual Language Policy provides practical principles for creating learning materials and communication that support inclusion, accessibility and participation across diverse learner groups.
